Encik Nor Hishammuddin completed his secondary education at Sekolah Alam Shah and proceeded to read law at the University Of Central England and obtained his Bachelor Of Law (Honors) degree and thereafter his Certificate in Legal Practice after completing the course at Universiti Malaya. He was subsequently called to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1994.
Encik Nor Hishammuddin was from the firm of Messrs. Abdul Aziz, Ong & Co. Advocates and Solicitors, an established law firm in Kuala Lumpur whose founding partner Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Zain is now retired Supreme Court Judge.
Encik Nor Hishammuddin is the founding partner of the law firm Messrs. Hisham Yoong - K.C. Lim, Advicates and Solicitors and is presently also the firm's principal and managing partner.
His area of practice includes banking and finance, corporate and commercial law, corporate governance, Islamic banking and practice, real estate and property law and the law of trademarks.
Encik Nor Hishammuddin also sits on the board of directors of CI Holdings Berhad, a company listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange Main Board and several other private companies. He is also a registered trademark and industrial design agent and acts as the Company Secretary to several private companies.
